Summer is still playing the sunny role in Saint-Cézaire in the begining of September but we're already thinking about the next jazz season.

Yet, there are 4 people who have said that they "definitely want to be part of it" : that's on the  NYC side and they can take up to 15 students.

Yet, here in St-Cézaire, we have started to think about the logistical problems. August is going to be a big jazz month in down South France's Cote d'Azur.

That's just the words of Roni and it enlights the perspectives : can you imagine a week during the summer of one of the mediterranean Cote-d'Azur's best place , Saint-Cézaire sur Siagne, altitude 475 m , breathing the light air of the hills upon Grasse and Cannes and making jazz music with masters ?

There a place for jazz here. Lots of possibilities. Studying during the days, jamming at night under the moonlight, public performances.

 It's an opportunity to present Roni Ben-Hur,  who put the idea of the master-class in San-Cezaire into Santi's ears so the message is well arrived into Fred's ones.

Sometimes, in life, there are occasions. People meeting and talking and playing music. A town, a big town, New York City and a small village, south of France, in the low mountains surrounding Grasse and Cannes, Saint-Cézaire sur Siagne. Connection is now older than ten years by Santi Debriano who met the locals guys playing music, jazz music. Attracted by the sound of guitars and drums in a small undergroud room that Frenchs call "cave", which does not mean cavern but cellar, actually, there are caves in Saint-Cézaire but they call it "grottes".

Anyway, it's an every year reunion and by every year, it has been different, check some souvenirs on 6meninacave website where you have also news from "the local guys".

2007 has been a quick passage of Santi who stayed only ten days. But enough to play two gigs, emergent part of a week of friendship and music.

2008 could be the year of a great combination between musicians of jazz and the touristic mediterranean village.

Masters and Students during a week or more for an everyday bath of music and sun : the master-class !

Ending with an open- concert in the village.
